The Students’ Union has a SumUp card reader at each campus that you can borrow for your fundraising activities. If you wish to use it, you will need to book it in advance. Please email us at surag@rvc.ac.uk with as much notice as possible but at least 1 week before you need to use it. Requests are granted on a first come first served basis. 

You will receive instructions detailing how to use the card reader. You will need to bring it back to the SU Office immediately after each fundraising activity, e.g. If you are fundraising over several days, you will need to return the card reader at the end of each day. 

Please note that income received by card reader is subject to admin fees (1.69% per transaction) 

Income from SumUp machines will be transferred to the charity, or to your club/soc account (if it is club/soc fundraising) asap after your event
