My name is Elarna Gibbs, I am currently in Vet Med 1 and have just completed my Gateway year. Being the course rep during my Gateway year really highlighted the importance of course reps. Being course rep gives you the chance to be a voice that your year otherwise wouldn’t collectively have. It allows you to communicate with your year group and receive feedback which you can then filter into one voice.
I am a very out spoken person and love to include everyone. I am open to answer any questions and help point people in the necessary direction if a staff member is needed. I would love the chance to get to know my year group. Also being Student Ambassador at RVC allows me to have great relationships with staff and be comfortable reaching out to people when needed. I would love to be able to listen to all ideas and suggest change for the RVC based upon the feedback I receive. I hope to try and make the feedback process more inclusive and appealing.
