ZOIE BALLANTYNE

Hi everyone, I think before this year I’ve been one of the quieter people, but it’s important to me that I give something back this year before we all leave to join the big bad world of employment. So I’d love to be your course rep this year!

I thrive on organisation and the odd cheeky facebook post. My emails as vice captain of polo were the stuff of legend, and since rotations have essentially cut me off from my team (RIP) I’d love to turn that enthusiasm on you guys.

Famed for my “Scottish fury” and my slightly frenetic attitude to work, you can rely on me to get the job done (and very much enjoy it). My main focus this year is to gather your guys feedback on rotations to improve things for lower years (and whatever is left for us). I’ve already started an updated “rotations cheat sheet” for the 4th years, which I’d love to finish up with more diverse feedback than just my own flat. A lot of what I’ve heard shows a huge variation in experience and knowledge between groups, and I’d love to get a more generalised overview and feed that back to the rotation leaders.
Hope final year is going well for everyone.

Remember, they can take our lives, but they cannot take our freedom.
