Welcome to the RVC Touch Rugby Club

 

RVC Touch Rugby is one of the fastest growing mixed societies at the RVC and across the country, promoting sport for everyone no matter your experience, age or degree. 

We welcome all abilities, whether you have played rugby all your life or are new to the game. We believe in inclusion and strive to create a supportive community both on and off the field.

We have developed from a small group of friends throwing a ball around on the fields to one of the largest mixed societies at the RVC. The majority of our members play Touch as a secondary sport, so we make sure to provide sessions for everyone to engage in and challenge themselves at their various levels.

Compared to other sports at the RVC our competitive season is structured slightly differently. We are a unique in the sense that we travel across the country to play a series of tournaments during the first and second term of the year.
Whilst they don't take away any time from our studies during the week these tournaments are an excellent way to escape campus life, play some sport and HAVE SOME FUN! These day trips at the weekend are really something all our members look forward to and always hope to make the teamsheet for.

Touch Rugby is famed for its top-tier social scene, Tuesday and Thursday sessions are never complete without our quality tunes provided by Senior Speaker and compulsory but questionable chat from the boys, followed by a trip to the Buttery and beyond (the Byng) It's always good vibes when you're with RVC Touch.
