Welcome to the RVC Shelter Medicine Club!
We are excited to bring another year of Shelter and Charity Medicine events for 2023/2024!
In addition to shelter medicine, we are also focused on financial accessibility and animal welfare. Whether or not you are planning a career in shelter medicine, these are topics that you will encounter frequently throughout your career. We hope to provide a variety of talks, events, and resources focused around these issues. We are also aiming to connect our members with opportunities to get involved with shelters in the London area & beyond, whether it be for AHEMS, clinEMS or even just volunteering.
If you've worked in a shelter before, are planning a career in shelter medicine, or are just interested in the club, we hope to have something for everyone. We are open to anyone at the RVC from all cohorts, and hope you will join us this year!
Our subs are £5 for the year which helps fund our events and activities. If we have any events with limited capacity, priority will go to our members who have paid subs. Please join our mailing list below to receive updates and stay involved with our club and activities:
